***Looking for male or female officer (couple's welcome) to rent my full/finished basement*** ABOUT THE SPACE -------------------------- - Located in north east Colorado Springs. El paso county. Close to main roads of Powers and Woodman. - 25 Minutes to USAFA - 20 minutes to Peterson AFB - School with running track within walking distance. - Stores/restaurants are ~2-5 minutes away by car. - 3 bed/4 bath home with double garage. (It is a tight fit because of my tools and work out equipment, but one space would be yours). Otherwise there is only driveway parking, no overnight street parking per HOA. - Smith machine, bench, weights, etc in garage are free to use. - Other renters will be living in other rooms intermittently. - Communal space in yard, kitchen, living room and 2nd floor balcony. - Washer and Dryer on second floor. - You would have the whole basement to yourself with its own full bathroom, dry bar/fridge, living room hooked up for surround sound, storage room and 11'×11' bedroom with closet. - There is no furniture in the basement, but the rest of the home is fully furnished with all normal home amenities like vacuum, kitchen essentials, etc. (so you wouldn't have to bring any of that). - ADT home security with front yard and backyard cameras. - All rooms and front doors have keycode locks. - Share kitchen and other common areas on first floor. - Wifi in place. - Hulu/Netflix already set up for main floor TV. - Gated backyard with small firepit. ABOUT ME: ---------------- - I am a 31 y/o single male from PA. AF Internal Medicine Physician, stationed at USAFA since 2018. - Currently Deployed from 6/2020 until either October or December 2020. (Unclear at the moment). - I don't smoke, rarely drink and do no drugs. - I enjoy road/mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, camping, guitar, photography, wood working (my tools/saws can be loud sometimes). - I have a strong Christian upbringing, but agnostic now. Politically moderate, but left leaning. (If this matters to you.) WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IN A HOUSEMATE: ----------------------------------------------------------- - Officer in any branch. - Preferentially 20s-30s. I'm ok with a couple, but no children as I am concerned with the workout equipment and tools in the garage as well as the new communal area furniture. - Cleanly. - Respectful of my property. - Likes outdoors, athletics, board games, nonsense, social things, etc. - No cats, but dogs allowed on a case by case basis. - No smoking. LEGAL: --------- - You would need renters insurance. - We will sign a lease. COST: -------- - $900/month + proportional amount of water/electric bill. (I pay fully for internet/cable/ADT/Garbage/HOA fees.) ADDITIONAL: ------------------ - The pictures show furniture in basement.
