About the property

Gorgeous ocean and mountain views, sun and moon rises over Kaneohe Bay looking toward MCBH (Mokapu). On the property, there are garden areas, access to the mountain and ocean ) and plenty of outdoor spaces. We are also an animal rescue center with 2 goats, turkeys, chickens, cat/s, and an Australian Shepard. No animals are allowed inside the unit, however. The rental has its own lanai (with a lovely couch and chairs) and entrance. There are also places to sit around the property, and a jungle hike you can take to an ancient fishing overlook (where you can see up to the North Shore). Enter from the garage and take steps or walk across the yard to the lanai to the rental space. The main room, has a kitchenette, a futon queen bed/couch, comfortable couch, bookshelves, and a table with stools. Down the hall leads to the picturesque bathroom on the left and forward to the second, private bedroom (with a door). The main bedroom has a queen and twin bed, dresser, desk, armoir, table and chairs. Furniture can be moved upstairs (where host family lives). Near the outdoor front lanai area, there is also a second bathroom with a separate entrance you can use. It has a washing machine, dryer, cool copper shower with a view and toilet (this area is shared). There is also a garage space that can be used for cooking and dining (interior not pictured). The garage and laundry room are shared facilities. There is a front yard, outdoor space, mountain to climb, etc. There is also a treehouse (very cool). The home was designed by Pip White and Associates. We have solar and focus on sustainable living, Hawaiian Heritage plants and healthy food.
