Your host Jenn, a professional Philadelphia Interior Designer, decorated the cottage and landscaping to elicit feelings of happiness and relaxation. Every inch of the home has been carefully considered for you to indulge in its multitude of amenities. Upon entering you will find yourself amongst cheerful colors and vintage decor. Jenn’s vision was a classic Palm Beach house reminiscent of the Golden Girls. She scoured antique shops to find the perfect pieces to mix into each room. A fully stocked kitchen is available to you with a gas range, French-door refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven and a coffee bar including a French press, Keurig and drip coffee maker. Sit at the eat-in kitchen table to enjoy your morning coffee or at the table on the back deck overlooking the nature preserve. Pamper yourself in the luxurious bathroom complete with custom tilework inspired by the Copacabana beach, a frameless glass shower, high-end fixtures and complimentary hotel toiletries. Sit in the Adirondack chairs around a campfire for late night storytelling and s’mores. We provide a small bundle of wood and skewers. Curl up on the comfy new sectional to stream your favorite shows on the 52” wide smart TV, watch a movie from our selection of DVDs or play one of our board games. When you’re ready for some shut eye, settle into one of the cozy beds. The master bedroom features a luxurious tempur-pedic queen mattress that will give you the best night's sleep ever! The second bedroom has 2 twin beds with new memory foam mattresses. Both bedrooms are equipped with a Roku Smart TV. The living room has a new full-sized sofa pullout bed with memory foam mattress. You’ll be sure to wake up refreshed and energized to explore the local attractions or enjoy the day relaxing around the house. ABOUT THE AREA: Our home is located in the charming Villas on a quaint street in a friendly residential neighborhood. The calm bay is 2 blocks away. Down the street from our house are local restaurants with great atmosphere to eat out at or order in from. Other local conveniences are Fleck's Ice Cream, Miniature Golf, Gaiss's Market, Wawa and CVS, all of which are right around the corner. The Rio Grande shopping area is also 5 miles away. Less than 10 miles away, you can find historic downtown Cape May, the Cape May beaches and all the local wineries and breweries. Enjoy site seeing at the Cape May lighthouse, charter a whale & dolphin watching boat, visit the Cape May Zoo or enjoy the food and activities at the Cape May-Lewes ferry. We are committed to ensuring your stay is a positive experience. Our home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between guests. Pillows and mattresses are covered in wipeable protectors. Blankets are provided but please bring your own sheets, bath and beach towels. If you would like to rent linens, contact the Linen Ladies in Cape May. We provide starter hotel toiletries, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper and paper towels.
